Chop Shop Entertainment is an L.A. based production company specializing in
on-location EPK, Internet Webisodes, and DVD added value content.
Since opening the garage doors in late 2005, Chop Shop Entertainment has assembled an impressive list of credits and clients. Starting with Clerks II, Kevin Smiths critically acclaimed sequel to his breakout success, Chop Shop was asked to provide internet webisodes, EPK materials, and DVD added value content. The result was a huge success, and made the Clerks II DVD one of the best selling and best reviewed DVDs of 2006. From there Chop Shop has gone on to work with such clients as NBC/Universal, Lucasfilm, VH1, Panasonic, and Criterion Collection DVDs. In the last year, Chop Shop Entertainment recently completed work on NBC / Universal's Gemini Division, starring Rosario Dawson. providing behind the scenes 'making of' webisodes for the promotion of this groundbreaking online series. As well as internet webisodes, EPK materials, and DVD added value content for Kevin Smith's latest film, Zack and Miri Make A Porno, starring Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks. Over the last year, Chop Shop also finished up production on internet webisodes, EPK materials, and DVD added value content for Kevin Smith's latest film, Zack and Miri Make A Porno, starring Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks. Currently Chop Shop Entertainment is working on an original production, a documentary on legendary and Academy Award nominated filmmaker John Milius. |

![]() Zak Knutson has been working "behind the camera" for the past 15 years in all aspects of film and television production. Learning from some of the best artists and craftsman in the entertainment industry, Zak has worked his way up through the Hollywood ranks. He has produced films for actor James Franco, and continues to produce and direct several projects for writer / director Kevin Smith. Zak co-founded Chop Shop Entertainment with Joey Figueroa in late 2005. Through his company, he directs, produces, and edits EPK, DVD added value content, internet webisodes, and original productions for television and film. |
![]() Joey Figueroa, a native a Southern California, made his commitment to Hollywood in 2002 by making the short trip from Orange County to Los Angeles with the aspirations to make his mark in this competitive industry. Not taking any opportunity for granted, Joey established working relationships that have grown solid through the years. At present time, he continues to produce and direct several projects for writer / director Kevin Smith. In late 2005, Joey co-founded Chop Shop Entertainment with long time friend Zak Knutson. Together they share the heavy workload of producing, directing, and editing each individual project for their clients. |
